Dr. Vino Kariyakarawana (Vino K)
MBBS, FRACGP, DCH,  MPH

Dr Vino K graduated in Sri Lanka in 2004 and migrated to Australia in 2008 where he completed his Masters in Public Health in WA. He had worked in many leading hospitals in Perth including SCGH, KEMH, PMH, Joondalup and Armadale hospitals.

Dr Vino K completed his Fellowship in General Practice in 2016 and also Diploma in Child Health (Sydney),

He has a special interest in managing Chronic Disease like high blood pressure, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Thyroid issues, etc. He is passionate about Preventive Medicine.

Dr Vino K has many years of experience working in Emergency Medicine, which make him confident in managing acute medical conditions.

He also has a special interest in Acupuncture and pain management and he is a qualified practicing Acupuncture in GP setting.

In leisure time Dr Vino K enjoys badminton, cycling and jogging.

Dr Yohana Grace Kurniawan
MBBS (UWA), FRACGP

Dr Yohana graduated her medicine from UWA and attained fellowship in 2020. She is passionate about general practice and deals with all aspects of general practice with special interest in woman’s health.

Languages speak: English and Indonesian

Dr. Kiran Puttappa
MBBS, FRACGP, Post Grad Dip in Diabetes (Cardiff)

Dr Kiran Puttappa did his medical school from India and later moved to U.K in 2001 and after gaining clinical experience, he moved to Australia in 2003. He has a vast clinical experience as a medical registrar in various public hospitals in Perth and the Gold Coast and he has a special interest in complicated general medicine cases and Diabetes.

He holds FRACGP and Post Grad Dip in Diabetes from Cardiff. He is also a board member of RACGP (WA Faculty) and currently a senior examiner to RACGP. He also has served as a Panel member in APHRA for 4 years.

Dr. Lakshmi Balasuriya
MBBS, MD, FRACP

Dr. Lakshmi Balasuriya, a dedicated and experienced medical professional with a specialization in internal medicine and a focus on eating disorders. With over 20 years of medical practice, she has developed a strong foundation in diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. She has a special interest in managing chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension and thyroid illnesses. She has also expertise knowledge in managing patients with eating disorders and infectious diseases, especially COVID-19 etc.

Having successfully obtained her MBBS and MD-Medicine degrees from renowned universities in Sri Lanka she moved to Australia in 2017 and completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP), which highlights her commitment to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of medical practice.

Currently, she works as a Consultant Physician in the Medical Assessment Units in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital. Furthermore, she provides service as a physician in North Metro Eating Disorder Specialist Service. She is also an adjunct clinical Senior Lecturer in Curtin Medical School.

Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in research and publication. She has contributed to studies on infectious diseases, drug therapy in patients with diabetes, hypertension management, and the demographics of COVID-19 patients. Her research efforts have been recognized through publications in reputable journals, including the BMC Journal of Infectious Diseases.

Fluent in both English and Sinhalese, she possesses excellent language skills that enable effective communication with diverse populations.

She enjoys music and dancing in her leisure time.
